Stephanie Biesenbach

I specialize in turnkey design for families with multiple generations under one roof.

Hello! I'm Stephanie Biesenbach, the Owner and Principal Designer of CLE Studio, a full-service interior design firm dedicated to creating luxurious and joyous spaces for your home. With a passion for color, texture, and layered designs, I believe in transforming your living spaces into beautiful and functional environments that enhance your style of living.

My background in the commercial design industry has honed my skills in process management, effective communication, and organization, which I bring to each project. Drawing from my experience in designing senior living communities, I approach residential design with a hospitality mindset, striving to create bespoke designs paired with exceptional customer service. Guiding clients through renovations and new builds, I follow a proven path of success that removes the pain and hassle from execution, allowing me to focus on delivering remarkable design for the families I serve.

Designing senior living communities was a profoundly rewarding experience that highlighted the impact of our creations on residents' lives. This motivated me to pursue my own business and fill a void in the design community. Following the challenges presented by the pandemic, there arose a need for designers who understand the importance of aging in place. People sought alternatives to traditional "old folks homes" and desired professionals who comprehend their unique challenges. Personally, I strongly believe in the concept of caring for loved ones in the comfort of their own homes. I am fortunate to have my mother-in-law living with us indefinitely, fostering a loving presence in our home and allowing our children to develop a strong bond with her.

Creating a life worth experiencing is more than a mere phrase; it is my life's mission for both myself and the families I serve. I design homes centered around the experiences that shape our identities. Amidst the distractions of the outside world, home should be a sanctuary where we unplug and connect with one another. I ensure that family game nights are held in inviting spaces that foster lasting connections. That our table is large enough to accommodate every generation during Sunday dinners. And most importantly, that the kitchen is designed to support the grand Thanksgiving feast, complete with mom's famous pecan pie.

Growing up in a large family, every gathering became a special event. While my grandparents' home served as the initial gathering place, we lost that strong connection point after their passing. In recent years, I have taken on the honor of hosting family events, and despite the stress of cleaning and preparation, I cherish the fact that my home has become the new gathering place. Cooking for others has become one of my favorite hobbies, as it allows me to create memorable experiences for loved ones.

I am excited to bring my expertise, passion, and commitment to your project, working closely with you to design a home that reflects your unique personality, embraces multi-generational living, and creates lasting memories for you and your loved ones.

  1. What is your Design Style?

I describe my style as joyful design with bold colors. Layered with texture and bespoke details

  2. Do you just pick paint colors?

No, I do so much more then that. I transform lives but transforming the homes of my clients I serve. Interior designers are trained to understand how we as humans use a space, then find the best solution to help support that activity through design. Good design should be how a space feels not just how it looks.

  3. What are you favorite types of thing to work on?

I love to design home bars and theaters. The use of warm wood tones mixed with bold color and metal are great ways to create a space that is sophisticated and cool.
